Texas GOP Rep. Ronny Jackson, a former White House physician, on Sunday suggested that President Joe Biden should submit to drug tests immediately before and after Thursday’s presidential debate.
“I’m gonna be demanding on behalf of many millions of concerned Americans right now that he submit to a drug test before and after this debate, specifically looking for performance-enhancing drugs,” Jackson told Fox News.
Previous President Donald Trump offered comparable remarks during a convention in Philadelphia about Biden utilizing medications to upgrade his discussion execution.
“So a little before banter time he has a chance in the ass and that is — they need to reinforce him up. So he emerges, he’ll emerge — alright. I say he’ll come out completely raised, right?” Trump told allies at the meeting.
Requested to remark on Jackson’s claims, a White House representative highlighted a May proclamation from representative Andres Bates, who told Politico at that point: “It’s telling that conservative authorities can’t quit reporting how scared they stay by [the] President’s Condition of the Association execution.”
Bates added, “Yet in the wake of losing each open and confidential exchange with President Biden — and subsequent to seeing him succeed where they bombed in all cases, going from really modifying America’s framework to truly decreasing savage wrongdoing to truly outcompeting China — it tracks that those equivalent conservative authorities botch certainty for a medication.”
